If you need to print from a laptop connected to the library's wireless network - or from your home PC that is connected to the Internet - you can print to a printer at the Main Library, to a printer at the Rakow Branch or a printer at the South Elgin Branch.  Print costs are 10¢ per page for black and white prints and 50¢ per page for color.

[Note: You can also use this utility to print a document file from a USB drive or a floppy disk from one of the Library Catalog computers in the library if you do not need to make any changes to the file.]

Printing to the Main Library Printers

  • The Network ID you use should be unique as it will be required to retrieve the print job.
  • All printing done through the Main Library Printers can be retrieved in the library's Computer Center during open hours.
  • Unclaimed print jobs are deleted two hours after they are sent to the library printers.

Printing to the Rakow Branch Printers

  • The User Name you use should be unique as it will be required to retrieve the print job.
  • All printing done through the Rakow Branch Printers can be retrieved in the branch's Computer Cafe during open hours.
  • Unclaimed print jobs are deleted two hours after they are sent to the branch printers.

Printing to the South Elgin Branch Printers

  • The User Name you use should be unique as it will be required to retrieve the print job.
  • All printing done through the South Elgin Branch Printers retrieved at the South Elgin Branch during open hours.
  • Unclaimed print jobs are deleted two hours after they are sent to the branch printers.
