Gail Borden Public Library is happy to offer technology classes to library district residents*. These classes are designed to improve and enhance the Digital Literacy skills in our community, or the skills people need to navigate, locate, evaluate, and use information that is available online.

Class Sizes and Timeframes

Classes are limited to 18 participants and last for 90 minutes with additional time scheduled at the end of class for questions.

Registration is required for all classes unless otherwise specified. If a class is full you can add your name to the waitlist or register for the next scheduled session. Participants will receive a reminder email before class to confirm attendance so please provide a current email address when registering.

Registration opens 2 weeks prior to the class date for individual classes and 2 weeks prior to the first  scheduled class for those in a series. You can register online through our event calendar (Events > Adult Programs), by phone (847-429-4597), or by stopping in at the library.

Classroom Guidelines

Classes begin and end promptly at their scheduled times. Late participants will not be admitted and their spots may be given to participants on the waiting list.

Cell phone use is not permitted during class and food is not allowed in the computer classroom. Beverages in spill-proof containers are permitted.

Class Surveys

Feedback is important for us to constantly improve our classes. After you have completed one of our classes please take a couple minutes to fill out our survey:
