This community campaign won a Hometown Governor's Award in 2013.
Literacy Calendar
The Getting Ready for Kindergarten Calendar is developed by the Elgin Partnership for Early Learning (EPEL), United Way of Elgin and members of the Gail Borden Library staff. This calendar is a tool that offers activities to enhance the development of skills needed in kindergarten.
