Digital Services Library Clerk

The Gail Borden Public Main Library has a part-time position available at the public Computer Center Desk in the Digital Services Department.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting customers with logging into computers, accessing websites, and formatting documents
  • Assisting customers with printing, scanning, copying, and faxing
  • Preparing devices and the Computer Training Room for classes
  • Maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for library users
  • Limited data entry
  • Promoting library services
  • Answering phone calls and providing in-person directional assistance to library users
  • Working with a team to provide excellent customer service

Other Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent 
  • Good clerical and communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Spanish language skills are a plus

Part-Time: 12 hours per week; includes day, evening, and weekend hours

Hourly Rate: $14.41 per hour
