Classroom Guidelines

Classes are open to district residents and limited to 16 participants. Classes begin at their scheduled times and run for 90 minutes. Late participants will not be admitted and their spots may be given to participants on the waiting list.

Cell phone use is not permitted during class and food is not allowed in the computer classroom. Beverages in spill-proof containers are permitted.

Registration

Registration is required and  opens three weeks ahead of the scheduled class date. Registering for a Series automatically enrolls you in all classes in the series. Classes belonging to a Series require participants to attend all sessions. Register online through our Event Calendar, by phone (847-429-4597), or in person.

Device Advice

Need help figuring out how to use your tablet, smartphone, or eReader? Bring your questions and your device to the library for some 1:1 help! No registration

Rakow: 1st & 3rd Thursdays/ Main: 2nd Thursday/ South Elgin 4th Thursday of the month

Appointments

Can't make it to a class or Device Advice? Stop by the Computer Center to schedule a 1:1 appointment (60 minute max per session)
