Serving children K-8th grade and their parents/caregivers.  

The Youth Center serves children in kindergarten through 5th grade.

The Middle School Zone, which is located within the Youth Center, serves children and teens in sixth through eighth grades.


Services and Collections 

Audiovisual - DVDs, CDs, video games, and audiobooks are available to check out.

Aquarium - Come and look at the fish and turtle in our aquarium!

Books – A variety of fiction and non-fiction books in both English and Spanish are available for readers in Kindergarten through 8th grades. Magazines are also available to read at the library or check out.

Computers – Our computers feature Microsoft Office, internet access, our online library catalog, and electronic resources. The computers are available on a first-come, first-served basis for one-hour sessions.  

Creation Station – Explore games and activities in the Creation Station! Each week, we will also have a craft for students to complete. Coloring sheets are available as well.

iPads - iPads are available for children to use inside the Youth Center. (Sessions are limited to thirty minutes). 

Kits – Books with a CD are available for check out.

Library Cards – Parents can decide when they want their children to have a library card. Please see a staff member at the Registration Desk at Circulation to apply for your free library card today. Restrictions may apply.

Programs – We offer a wide variety of programs for children of all ages. Please see our paper monthly calendars or the library's online event calendar for detailed program information.

Resource Room – Adults are welcome to use our resource room, which contains an Ellison Die machine, laminator, paper cutter, and sewing machine. Fees are required for use of some equipment. Please bring your own paper and supplies. Please see a staff member in the Youth Center for more information. In order to use a sewing machine, you will need to purchase a bobbin for 25¢, provide your own thread (all-purpose is best), and use in the library.  Sewing machines cannot be taken home.

Toys – A variety of learning toys and games are available for check out, including science kits.
