Earn your high school diploma

Gail Borden Public Library, in partnership with our regional library system (RAILS) offers adults the opportunity to earn an accredited high school diploma and a career training certificate online.

The library's program provides a limited number of scholarships to qualified adult learners who are looking to expand their career opportunities, prepare for workforce entry, and continue their education. Career Online High School will be open to Gail Borden Public Library cardholders.

Applicants will be considered for enrollment- with a scholarship! - when they have successfully completed an online self-assessment, and brief prerequisite course. After this step, applicants will be contacted for an in-person interview with the Gail Borden Library Program Manager.

Once enrolled in the program, Career Online High School pairs each student with an online academic coach, who provides ongoing guidance, evaluates performance, and connects the student with available resources to complete the courses. Students will have up to 18 months to complete the program.
